As an Order Picker using an Order Pick Truck (OPT), you play a key role in ensuring customer orders are collected accurately and on time. From a highly automated distribution center, over two million order lines are processed annually. The warehouse features an advanced OSR shuttle system, modern internal transport equipment, and dedicated ADR compartments for hazardous goods storage. Efficiency, safety, and quality are central within the logistics team.
As an Order Picker, you work independently within the picking aisles using an Order Pick Truck (OPT). You collect orders according to the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and check items for correct quantities and quality. Once completed, you prepare orders for shipment to ensure customers receive their products on time.
You are also responsible for replenishing pick locations using internal transport equipment and identifying stock discrepancies. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is essential, and you report any unsafe situations when necessary. You may also assist with loading activities when required. This is a full-time role in a 2-shift system with the following times:
6:00 - 15:00 & 15:00 - 0:00.
- MBO-level working and thinking ability;
- Experience with an OPT, EPT, or similar internal transport equipment is a plus;
- Physically fit and comfortable with active work;
- Good command of the English language;
- Accuracy and attention to detail;
- Ability to handle workload and work under pressure;
- Able to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong focus on working safely.
